Why Does the Left Continually Support Violent Psychos Like Brett Kimberlin?

In case you haven’t seen the latest, below is a bit from Patterico’s blog regarding convicted felon turned Democrat Left Wing Activist Brett Kimberlin:

What you have just read is a summary. I have lived this daily — literally daily — for almost a year. There are pieces of evidence I didn’t have room to include. There is so much evidence of harassment it would take you weeks to read about it.

What’s more, I know that this post is going to result in more harassment. I will almost certainly be sued, despite my careful efforts to stick to the facts. There will likely be more complaints to my workplace.

And I have a feeling they’ll find creative new ways to try to rip my life apart.

As an aside, I have listened to Brett Kimberlin in court audio, saying he meets with Congressmen on a regular basis. I want to make sure these Congressmen know what he’s doing.

I have appreciated the support I have felt in recent days, with people like Michelle Malkin, Instapundit, Stacy McCain, Ace, and many others stepping up and being willing to take on this topic.

It is my hope that the support of the blogosphere will not melt away after today. Because the harassment will almost certainly live on.

It’s an important battle to take on. And I want to stress that this should not be a partisan issue. I believe Brett Kimberlin uses lefty politics as a tool — but he doesn’t believe any of it in his heart. He is looking for a buck. I have been heartened to see left-leaning people of all stripes stand up to this guy in the past, from Mark Singer, the author of Citizen K; to Ken Ashford, who refused to give up Aaron Walker’s identity; to the left-leaning lawyer who represented Aaron pro bono.

It is my hope that left-leaning blogs will recognize that this is not a partisan issue. It is a free speech issue.

Remember how I said one of my commenters was outed? And this crew started talking about his parents? And his divorce records? For being a commenter of mine?

What happened to me could literally happen to anyone. It could happen to you.

If you take nothing else from this post, remember that. It could happen to you.

Stacy McCain also has a lengthy description of this Democrat psycho Kimberlin:

Kimberlin’s infamous criminal past could scarcely have been a secret to those who funded his organization. Kimberlin became a national political celebrity during the 1988 presidential campaign because of his claim, made while he was still serving time in federal prison, that he had once sold marijuana to Dan Quayle, who was then the Republican candidate for vice president.

Kimberlin offered no proof for that unsubstantiated allegation, but it drew the attention of award-winning journalist Mark Singer. A reporter for the New Yorker, Singer was initially sympathetic to Kimberlin, and the two men split an advance for a book deal to tell Kimberlin’s story. Singer ended the co-authorship deal after he became disillusioned by Kimberlin’s habitual dishonesty. In 1996, Singer published Citizen K: The Deeply Weird American Journey of Brett Kimberlin, which exposed Kimberlin as a “world-class liar” and “first-class con man.”

In fact, according to both Singer and Indianapolis Star reporter Joseph Gelarden, prosecutors suspected a particularly sinister motive for the Speedway Bomber’s terroristic rampage: To distract law enforcement officials who were investigating the July 29, 1978, murder of Julia Scyphers, the grandmother of a pre-teen girl toward whom, Gelarden wrote in 1981, Kimberlin had “strange affection . . . questionable relationship.”

It’s bad enough the Left still support domestic terrorists like Bill Ayers but now they have another one (Kimberlin) to add to their list who is continuing his terrorism only without actual bombs.  The Left has the Black Caucus (actual elected Democrats) visiting that slime Castro in Cuba as if he was so great, they have Left Wingers supporting murderous, cowardly, vile scum Che Guevara all of the time and a lot of groups and Left Wing individuals like Barbara Streisand and John Kerry’s wife supporting organizations that are run by a convicted (CONVICTED, SERVED TIME IN PRISON) domestic TERRORIST, Brett Kimberlin.  There are many more like these examples that the Left supports but I haven’t got all day.  Why do the Left – Many Democrats, Liberals and Progressives – support these violent, psychotic and twisted people?  To a ‘normal thinking’ person there is no justification for supporting these types of people – EVER – whether you are on the Left, the Right or somewhere in between.  The only logical solution I can possibly come up with is that Liberalism is a mental disorder.

Good luck to Patterico, Mandy, Stacy and everyone else.  The great thing is – they STILL haven’t shut you up and they never will.

Union Leaders – Nevermind the Law

Nothing new here.  Union leaders have always ignored the law and committed crimes whenever they feel like it.  Funny the first speaker talks about the right to ‘Freedom of Association’ except he is FOR FORCED UNIONISM which takes that ‘right’ AWAY.  The hypocrisy and criminal element in the unions is despicable.  Progressives are their ‘allies’?  Guess what America – progressives are not PRO-Constitution which is why the Unions love them because neither are they.

There has always been a ‘War on Women’ – waged by Democrats

Democrats and the Obama Administration have created some amusing propaganda  recently – the GOP’s ‘War on Women’.  Many people believe there is no war on  women (there isn’t in the form that Obama is peddling)  but in reality  there has been a war waged against women for many years – by Democrats.   Let’s start with a little stroll back through history.

It was Democrats who didn’t want women to get the right to vote  nationally:  From the New York Times

Minnesota Delegate’s Suggestion Rouses Furor in  Suffrage Convention

League Takes the Place of Old Association That Won  the Fight

CHICAGO, Feb. 14 – The National American Woman’s Suffrage Association  today came to the defense of Will Hays, Chairman of the Republican National  Committee, who has been attacked by anti-suffragists for aid rendered to the  suffrage cause, and congratulated the Republican Party “for having a Chairman  who is astute enough to recognize the certain trend of public affairs and to  lead his party in step with the inevitable march of human progress.”

It was under Democrat President Wilson that women (suffragettes) who  were protesting for their right to vote outside of the White House were arrested  and confined to prison.

The Democrats’ ‘War on Poverty’ has done nothing to ease poverty but has  increased the number of women IN poverty and dependent on the government.

What was the message of the social programs that came out of  LBJ’s Great Society?

One of the most devastating to the family was that if an unwed woman  became pregnant, moved out of the home of her parents, did not name or know who  the father was, then Big Daddy in Washington would provide for all her essential  needs. Ergo she no longer needed a husband or the support of her family. In  fact, the more children she had out of wedlock, the more money she would receive  from the government.

The ‘Great Society’ hurt black women and families the most and  still does to this day:

…That’s the deal that the Great Society struck with low-income black  women in the 1970s. The result: the marginalization of black men, an explosion  of single-parent households, and the institutionalization of a near-permanent  under-class.

Forty years ago, social scientists devised a clever euphemism to sum up the  effects of a government program that picks taxpayers’ wallets, weakens the  family, and turns women into wards of the state: the feminization of  poverty.

Occupy Wall Street is nothing but a Union Movement

Occupy Wall Street has tried to paint themselves as a ‘grassroots’ movement of the 99%.  However it’s become increasingly clear that they have become nothing more than a union movement – the 12% of this country.  Tonight an organization called sponsored an event at Foley Square in New York City. claims to be ‘Fighting for a city that works for all’ with no links on their site (what can been seen of it) that tells people who they REALLY are – the SEIU.  From their ‘About Us’ page:

 About United NY

We’re standing up for a vision of New York City where everyone, not just a privileged few, has the opportunity to thrive and build a secure, dignified life for themselves and their families. Corporations, big banks and Wall Street are making billions in profits. They should be investing in good jobs and paying their fair share in taxes so we can stop the cuts to education, healthcare, public transportation and other vital city services.
It was aka SEIU that set up many of the ‘Occupy Events’:

Their facebook page claims they are a Community Organization – never mentions they are the SEIU:

Since some in the OWS claim to be against money in politics, one would find it strange that they would bed with unions since unions spend billions in politicking and do exactly the same thing as what OWS claims corporations do.  It was also strange to hear the OWS chanting well known union chants over and over (‘This is what Democracy looks like’ etc etc).  Most people just thought unions jumped on the bandwagon – not true. domain was created in APRIL 2011:

The following shows the IP Address of the website:

The following then links the IP addy to the SEIU in Washington D.C.:

So much for Occupy Wall Street being grassroots.  The Occupiers who had no clue about the union involvment are nothing but ‘useful idiots’ for unions and the far left wing.  The reason there was money and ‘tech guys’ to set up local phone lines and websites was because OWS is NOT a grassroots movement.  It’s a sham.  Occupy Wall Street isn’t about the 99%.  It’s about the 12% that are UNION in this country.  Period.

Extremists, Radicals and Freestaters – Oh My!!

Those are the ‘fear mongering’ talking points that seem to come across most New Hampshire Democrats’ lips, tweets, press releases and facebook entries lately regarding legislation being brought forth by the Republicans.  Of course these are the same talking points handed down from the DNC only in the Granite State they add ‘Freestaters’ because those evil, freedom loving Libertarians are such radicals!    The Democrats have no real leg to stand on when it comes to legislation.  Apparently they didn’t get the memo from New Hampshire voters in 2010 when Republicans were voted into the Legislature by a majority.

Granite State Democrats complain that legislation such as repealing RGGI or the passing Right-to-Work legislation are ‘social issues’.  Funny because RGGI does absolutely nothing to help the environment, is a crony capitalist slush fund and costs consumers and businesses even more for electricity costs.  Repealing RGGI will help consumers and businesses by lowering electricity costs and as already stated – have zero, nada, and zilch effect on the environment.

Democrats like to pretend they are for the middle class and workers’ rights yet they are against Right-to-Work legislation which is PRO workers’ rights, giving workers the freedom from being forced to pay union dues or fees.  Since it’s well known that Democrats, including Governor Lynch and those in the New Hampshire State Legislature, are bought and paid for with union dues (which most members disagree with by the way), who exactly are the extremists and radicals – the Republicans who are trying to make the state better for workers and business or the Democrats who want to continue union oppression of workers?

A couple examples from the New Hampshire Democrat Party site:

New Hampshire Democratic Party Chairman Ray Buckley released the following statement on Newt Gingrich’s campaign announcement:

“…Newt Gingrich’s record of tearing down government – accumulated from nearly four decades in Washington – have made him a darling of extreme fiscal conservatives but not right for Granite Staters who value common sense policies that help those in need over a drown-the-government agenda. Gingrich’s campaign organization, consisting of a vast network of special interests, means he’ll put business first and Granite Staters last.

New Hampshire Senate Republicans Join House Circus and Vote to Reduce Wages, Kill Jobs

“A right-to-work-for-less bill may allow the extremists now in control of the Republican Party to check off an item on their reckless agenda and pay homage to their out of state billionaire contributors, but it will cost New Hampshire workers millions of dollars a year in lower wages and destroy thousands of jobs.”

This is more than amusing since it is extreme Nanny-state government that voters rejected at the ballot box in November.  The votes were not only a referendum on Obama and national Democrats for their far left extremism but on local Democrats as well.  New Hampshire isn’t called the ‘Live Free or Die’ state because it wants to replicate our Nanny state neighbors.  While New Hampshire Democrats use the same talking points handed to them from the DNC that their counterparts in the uber-liberal Massachusetts use, they must understand that Granite Staters are much different breed of people.  New Hampshire is the last bastion of true freedom in New England and the majority of voters have already proven they’d like to keep it that way, no matter how hard the NH Democrat Party seeks to turn it into Massachusetts.  Extremists, Radicals and Freestaters – keep up the good work!

Some facts on Right-to-Work states can be found here.  Democrats refuse to research the fact that Right-to-Work will be extremely beneficial to New Hampshire’s economy and job creation.
